OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE
Declan and Anna Corbett are the Galway native brother and sister team who have brought the American roadhouse style restaurants to Ireland. Following on from the success of the family restaurant & hotel business, The Meadow Court Hotel, Loughrea, Co.Galway, Declan and Anna Corbett purchased the Kilworth site in 1996. The main building dates back to the late 1800s and has been used as an army barracks, a bottling plant, nightclub and disco. After a major refurbishment the premises re-opened as the Corbett Court. The Kilworth restaurant has been offering quality food, service and accommodation to both the passing motorist and local customer for 20+ years, having played host to many weddings and functions over the years.
In 2006 Declan and Anna purchased the Ballyhea Co.Cork premises. They extended and completely refurbished the building and Corbett Court Ballyhea was born. Catering for all passing and local trade the restaurant is an extension of their extremely successful Corbett Court restaurant in Kilworth Co.Cork.
To date, both restaurants have won a number of prestigious awards for food and service.

Well known for their Irish Coffee making skills, Anna Corbett was crowned The Irish Coffee Making Munster Champion, whilst, Declan Corbett was crowned The Irish Coffee Making World Champion. To date, they have both passed down their tips and tricks on how to make the perfect Irish Coffee, to the many local staff they have employed over the last 20+ years. A great excuse to pop in for a bite to eat and a world winning Irish Coffee.
